About Lines #

Line #

The line object is the most basic and common object in drawings of any discipline.
Precision in Specifying Point Locations
• Use object snap , to snap to locations on objects
• Use Orthogonal locking, Ortho Mode (F8), to constrain cursor movement to the horizontal and vertical directions
• Use angle overrides to lock the cursor to a specified angle

How to draw a line with the specific angle and length?
1. Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Line”.
2. Specify the first point.
3. Do one of the following to specify the angle: Enter the left angle bracket (<) and the angle, for example <30, and move the cursor to indicate the direction.
4. Do one of the following to specify the length: Enter the length of the line, for example 25.

Tangent line #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Tangent line”
• Select circle/arc entity.
• Specify second point.

Parallel line #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Parallel line”
• Select line entity
• Select circle/arc to tangent or press enter input offset point

Vertical line #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Vertical line”
• Select line entity
• Select circle/arc to tangent or press enter input offset point

Angular line #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Angular line”
• Select line entity
• enter angular with first line, such as 30 or 45
• specify the point on the fist line
• press enter to change the second line direction

Bisector #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Bisector”
• Select first line entity
• select second line entity
• enter number of equal parts of the angular, such as 2 or 3

Center line/center mark #

Draw center line of circle/arc
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Center line”
• Select circle/arc entity.
• Input length of extend circle segment value.

Draw center mark
• Click Menu “Editor”, and then choose “Circle Center Mark”
• Select circle/arc entity.
• Input length of center segment value.

Polyline #

A polyline is a connected sequence of line segments created as a single object. You can create straight line segments, arc segments, or a combination of the two.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Pline”
• Specify first point
• Specify second point ,(A/arc)/(L/line), input A to draw arc, input L to draw line
If choose A, you may enter R radius, angle, eg: R15, 90, you will draw the arc radius as 15, the angular as 90.

About Curved Objects #

Circle #

To create circles, you can specify various combinations of center, radius, points on the circumference, and points on other objects. You can create circles in several ways. The default method is to specify the center and the radius.

Draw a circle by center and radius
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “circle”
• Specify the center point.
• Enter a radius value, or specify a point.

Draw a circle with two points
Create a circle based on two endpoints of the diameter.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “circle two points”
• Specify the first point on diameter.
• Enter a value, or specify a second end of diameter.

Draw a circle with three points
Create a circle based on three points on the circumference.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “circle three points”
• Specify the first point on circle.
• Specify the second point on circle.
• Specify the third point on circle.

Draw a circle tangent to two objects
Create a circle with a specified radius and tangent to two objects. The program draws the circle of the specified radius whose tangent points are closest to the selected points.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “circle tangent-tangent-radius”
• Input specify radius value
• Select the first entity
• Select the second entity
• Input “I” or “C” to select inscribed circle or Circumscribed circle

Sometimes more than one circle matches the specified criteria. The program draws the circle of the specified radius whose tangent points are closest to the selected points.

Draw a circle tangent to three objects
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “circle tangent-tangent-tangent”
• Select the three entities
• Input “I” or “C” to select inscribed circle or Circumscribed circle
Sometimes more than one circle matches the specified criteria. The program draws the circle of the specified radius whose tangent points are closest to the selected points.

Arc #

To create an arc, you can specify combinations of center, endpoint, start point, radius, and angle.

Draw an arc with three points
Draw an arc using three specified points on the arc’s circumference

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Arc Three-Point”
• Specify arc first point.
• Specify arc second point.
• Specify arc third point.

Draw an arc by Center, Specifying Start, Angle
You can create an arc using a start point, center, and an included angle.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Arc Center-StartPoint-Angle”
• Specify arc center point.
• Specify arc start point.
• Specify arc angle, or input value

Draw an arc by specifying Start, End, Radius
You can create an arc using a start point, endpoint, and a radius.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Arc StartPT-EndPT-Radius”
• Specify arc start point.
• Specify arc end point.
• Input value of arc radius

Ellipse #

When you draw an ellipse, its shape is determined by two axes that define its length and width: the major (longer) axis and the minor (shorter) axis.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Ellipse”
• Specify ellipse center point.
• Specify major radius.
• Specify second radius.(minor radius)

Rectangle #

Creates a rectangular polyline from the specified the rectangle parameters.
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Rectangle”
• Specify rectangle first point.
• Specify rectangle second point directly, or Enter Swidth, height to specify point, eg: S100,90

Polygon #

You specify the number of sides of the polygon and whether it is inscribed or circumscribed.
Draw Polygon with center point
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Polygon/Polygon (center, point)”
• Specify polygon base point.
• Input “C” or “I” to choose inside the circle or tangent to the circle.
• Specify edge count value, such as 3.
• Specify second point, you may edit radius value here and press enter directly.

Draw Polygon with two corners
• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Polygon/Polygon (two corners)”
• Specify edge count value, such as 3.
• Specify polygon’s first corner
• Specify second corner (Press enter to change the drawing side)

Text and Hatch #

• Click Menu “Draw”, and then choose “Insert”
• Choose the source of insert drawing/block
• Specify insert base point
• Specify insert scale
• Specify insert angle
• Click “OK” to insert
